  • Flight Operations (Primary Manifest)

    Responsible for the safe navigation and docking of all craft within the Starbase sector of control. This includes Starships through to Shuttles. The sub-divisions of Traffic/Docking Control and Flight Control have a mix of Flight rated officers and Pilots respectively.

    Note that the Flight Operations department does not include Fighter pilots.

    • Traffic/Docking Control

      Responsible for the safe docking of Ships entering and exiting the Starbase, as well as navigation for the Starbase sector of influence.

    The medical & counseling department is responsible for the mental and physical health of the crew, from running annual physicals to combatting a strange plague that is afflicting the crew to helping a crew member deal with the loss of a loved one.

    The Intelligence department is responsible for gathering and providing intelligence as it becomes possible during a mission; during covert missions, the intelligence department also takes a more active role, providing the necessary classified and other information.

  • 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines (Primary Manifest)

    Second Battalion, Fifth Marines have been assigned to Deep Space 12 as a standard rotation deployment. Whilst at the station Marines will conduct various training evolutions, including: Planetary deployment, long term reconnaissance, live fire maneuvers, marksmanship, close quarter combat, extreme weather survival and defense of a fixed position.

    The Starfleet Marine Corps is a combat focused organization, each Marine is a rifleman, trained in the use of a weapon as a core component. They are a versatile force, having specialists in recon, piloting, planetary survival etc. Their number of personnel changes up and down depending on whether there is an active conflict. During Peacetime, Marine units are rotated through Planet, Ship and Station assignments to train if an active conflict occurs.

      Sporting a range of craft the Marine Flight Elements are pivotal in getting Marines where they need to be, and covering them when they get there. Argo Shuttles, Runabouts, Hoppers for transport, and Gryphon, Peregrine and Sprite fighters for close air support. Lambda Flight Element is attached directly to Gamma Company and has 4 Argo Shuttles and 2 Peregrine Escorts.
